From 6 - 10 p.m., Downtown Auburn is transformed into its very own art district, showcasing the work of both local and regional artists. BURGER WARS AND TOUCH-A-TRUCK
June 8 | Downtown Opelika
Get ready for a grilling showdown as Burger Wars returns to downtown Opelika for its 10th annual competition! Grillers of all levels will show off their skills to support the Opelika Rotary Charitable Foundation, aiding the Food Bank of East Alabama Backpack Program. For just $2, you can sample 1⁄4 of a tasty burger at any of the 30+ grilling stations. Arrive early at 10:45 a.m. to ensure you get to sample them all! But that’s not all bring the whole family along to Touch-A-Truck! From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., kids of all ages can explore race cars, military vehicles, dump trucks, and more. This is an eventful day you don’t want to miss!
ACES FORE AUSTIN - 2ND ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF SCRAMBLE
June 10 | Grand National – RTJ Golf Trail
Come out to play Alabama’s finest golf course for a great cause. Enjoy a day on the green at the second annual Charity Golf Scramble. Golfers will play on Grand National, a Robert Trent Jones Course, built on 600-acre Lake Saugahatchee. Acres Fore Austin raises awareness as well as crucial funds for families affected by rare diseases. This fun-filled event benefits UAB’s Undiagnosed Disease Program and OHSU’s research efforts. Can’t make it? Join the cause by donating raffle items or making a tax-deductible donation. Let’s swing for a cure!
MARATHON MOUNTAIN BIKE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Mark your calendars for June 15, and come out to Chewacala State Park for the Marathon Mountain Bike National Championship! Auburn-Opelika is proud to host the USA Cycling event, where athletes will tackle over 30 miles of diverse trails, including sections of the 1988 NORBA Nationals Course. Register to participate or spectate here. Make sure to stop by downtown Opelika to celebrate the conclusion of the race with a post-race social and awards ceremony! Celebrate Independence Day in Auburn-Opelika with two days of fun and festivities!
Kick it off on July 3 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. in Opelika as they host the annual Freedom Celebration at Opelika High School. This event is packed with fun including the Silver Wings Parachute Team, music by Route 66, concessions, and a firework show at dark! Indulge in classic American bites like hamburgers, hotdogs, and popcorn while enjoying activities for the whole family.
Continue celebrating in Auburn as the Duck Samford Stadium hosts an evening of great food, inflatables, and live music on July 4. Aubie might even make an appearance! The night will culminate with another impressive display of fireworks starting at 9 p.m. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for July 5.

Don’t miss Auburn’s annual tasting event on Friday, July 26 from 6-10 p.m. Stroll through the heart of Auburn while enjoying small pours of wine or bubbles perfectly paired with savory bites from local restaurants such as The Hound, Draft House, Acre, and more. SUMMER SWING CONCERT SERIES
The Summer Swing Concert Series is back for another summer! Every Tuesday, relax on the bank of Rocky Brook Creek in Monkey Park and enjoy an evening of live music. The Opelika Band Boosters will prepare burgers and hotdogs for a nominal fee from 6:15-7:30 p.m., and the Rocky Brook Rocket, a vintage train, will give complimentary rides from 6:30-7 p.m. Bring the whole family and a picnic blanket for a night of fun!
